Llegó el nuevo año y con él otra temporada más de premiaciones a lo mejor del cine, la televisión y la música, por lo que Hollywood no parará con la fiesta en los próximos meses.
Los primeros en el calendario son los People´s Choice Awards que se realizan este miércoles en el Nokia Theatre de Los Ángeles, y estarán bajo la conducción de Kat Dennings y Beth Behrs, protagonistas de 2 Broke Girls, quienes reemplazan a la nominada Kaley Cuoco (The Big Bang Theory).
El evento se transmitirá por Warner Channel a las 20:00 horas.
Entre las películas más nominadas se encuentran “12 Years a Slave”, “Gravedad”, “American Hustle” y “Dallas Buyers Club”. Además, los artistas que podrían ganar más de una estatuilla son Sandra Bullock, Matthew McConaughey, Idris Elba y Tom Hanks.
La nueva serie Mom fue muy bien recibida, cosechando tres postulaciones, incluyendo la de Comedia nueva favorita.
Super Fun Night, otra nueva serie, recibió las nominaciones a Comedia nueva favorita y a Actriz favorita en nuevo show para Rebel Wilson.
2 Broke Girls, por su parte, también resultó nominada a Comedia favorita y a Amigas favoritas.
En lo que respecta al cine, Channing Tatum está doblemente nominado, y compite con colegas como Hugh Jackman, Johnny Depp, Leonardo DiCaprio y Robert Downey Jr. En el premio a Actriz favorita se anotan Gwyneth Paltrow, Jennifer Aniston, Melissa McCarthy, Sandra Bullock y Scarlett Johansson.
En el rubro Música, Katy Perry y Justin Timberlake lideran la cuenta con cinco nominaciones cada uno, seguidos por Pink y Bruno Mars, con tres cada uno.
Otros nominados son Michael Bublé, Avicii, Selena Gomez, Demi Lovato, Miley Cyrus, One Direction, Lady Gaga, Britney Spears, Rihanna, Robin Thicke, The Band Perry entre otros.
